Winter is Coming!

This year the weather was quite warm until early November and then suddenly a cold snap has come to Japan. It feels almost as if Japan skipped Autumn and went right into winter. 

That said, winter is not fully here on Rokkosan yet and one can still enjoy sunny days perfect for hiking and getting out and about on the mountain. 

Leaves are quickly changing and falling from the trees. Paths through the woods become blanketed with a cover of fallen leaves. 

Autumn foliage can been seen on Rokkosan and with the trees shedding their leaves combined with the clear skies, the views from Rokkosan become the most spectacular! 

This is really the best season to travel to Rokkosan and enjoy the natural beauty that it provides. 

Also if you saw our previous post about Rokko Meets Art you will know that this is the last week to visit the mountain and enjoy it. The finally day will be on November 23rd (Thursday but a Holiday), so be sure to head to the mountain in the next week to check it out!

The seasonally Holiday Rokkosan is just around the corner!
