The weather is getting warmer many beautiful flowers and plants are staring to awaken from their winter sleep. Birds, insects and many animals are becoming more active, spring is in the air.
While the beautiful Sakura (Cherry Blossom) season is mostly over in downtown Kobe, on Rokkosan they are just starting. Coming up from the city by walking, cable or car, one can see the many Sakura trees starting to bloom.
Wonderful hiking and various events are planned at the many facilities on the mountain.
Remember the “Rokkosan Tourist Pass” is a great way to travel to and around the mountain.
To walk to the Guide House from the Cable station, take a look at out “Top of Rokko Cable to Guide House” guide. Stop by, pick up some maps and find out about what is happening on the mountain!
In thinking about where one might want to go, also take at look at the “Walking Times from the Mt. Rokko Guide House” to get an idea of what is around.
