Winter Mt. Rokko from the Sky

From January 22nd to March 1st in the Mt.Rokko Visitor Center there is a wonderful exhibition of Rokkosan seen in a different way.

　

It not often that one has a chance to see the beauty of Rokkosan from the sky, as a high flying bird would see it. This is an exhibition of snow covered Rokkosan capture in pictures and video via drone.

While Rokkosan does get a bit of snow each year, there were a few spectacular days in early 2019 that the conditions were perfect, creating a winter wonderland seldom seen on the mountain.

　

The large panel displays of the drone footage along with the video capture the beauty of the snow covered Mt.Rokko Visitor Center, Kobe Golf Course, Rokko Cable and Rokkosan Snow Park.

All of the pictures and footage was photographed and edited by Nathan Bryan, the Guide House Mountain Reporter for the Mt.Rokko Visitor Center.

　

Entrance is free and recently the weather this winter had not been that cold and many days have been quite sunny, providing beautiful views from the Mt.Rokko Visitor Center over the city of Kobe.
